Is it really free?

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click from your account page — no emails, no retention calls. You keep paid features until the end of your billing period.
Do I need to create an account?
You can upload, generate, review, and export cards without signing in. Sign in to save your decks in your personal library and access them across devices.
How can I organize my decks?
Your personal library lets you create folders, move decks, and sort by name, card count, or modified date. Select multiple decks to move or delete them together.
How good are the generated cards?
Cards are optimized for nursing education and grounded to the lecture you uploaded. You’ll see the supporting slide and excerpt, and you can keep, edit, reject, or flag each card as incorrect before export. The coverage map is traceability—not a guarantee of completeness.
Can I customize what types of cards I get?
Yes. Card preferences let you choose cloze, Q&A, image occlusion, and a coverage depth. SlideToAnki also learns aggregate patterns from the cards you keep, edit, reject, or flag so future generations better match your study style.
What file formats are supported?
PDF and PowerPoint (.pptx). We extract all text and images, including embedded diagrams and charts.
Will the cards work with my existing Anki setup?
Yes. Export a standard .apkg for Anki desktop or AnkiMobile. If Anki desktop and AnkiConnect are open, text-only decks can sync directly; image occlusion decks use .apkg so their media and masks stay intact. Stable card identities make repeat exports safer to update.
How many cards does it generate?
It depends on your content and the coverage depth you choose. Concise generates roughly 1 card per slide, balanced about 2, and thorough 3–4. A typical 50-slide lecture on balanced produces 40–80 cards. You can stop generation early or delete cards you don't need.
Can I edit the cards before exporting?
Absolutely. Review every card, edit the text, delete ones you don't want, and only export what you'll actually study. Undo and redo are supported if you change your mind.
Can I save my decks and access them later?
Without an account, your last few decks are cached in your browser for 24 hours. Sign in with Google to save decks permanently to your personal library — accessible from any device.
Is my data private?
Your personal library and lecture files are restricted to your account or the browser session that created them. Raw lecture content is not sent to analytics. Eligible text cards and review feedback help improve future generations through our trusted-card process. See the Privacy Policy for details.
